Workforce Development

workforce development

We recognize the tremendous opportunity an investment in transportation can present to area residents and communities as well as the bright future a construction career can offer. Our team’s comprehensive approach to workforce development spans youth, veterans, people of color, women, previously incarcerated, and former foster care recipients to name just a few. We know introducing K-12th graders to the wonders of not only STEM but also the rewarding work of building something with your own two hands, is an investment that pays future dividends for years to come. Leading young people toward craft, trade, and vocational education opportunities presents a different path toward a meaningful career than traditional university education. We also recognize some of our highest risk community members (previously incarcerated and former foster care recipients) can enjoy the camaraderie and supportive team environment presented in the construction industry.
